These drivers are fully functioning versions intended for evaluation purposes. You will be able to install the drivers and connect to your database. The only limitation is that they will only return the first 3 rows from any query. Once you have purchased a license key, all rows will be returned from your queries.
NOTE: There is no charge for the upgrade to version 2.x of the drivers for existing 1.x customers.
Actual ODBC Pack v 2.9d (for Mac OS X)
The Actual ODBC Pack installs the latest version of several Actual Technologies ODBC drivers. The included drivers and their version numbers are listed below:
- Actual SQL Server 2.9b (Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase)
- Actual Open Source Databases 2.9b (MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite)
- Actual Oracle 2.9e
- Actual Access 1.9 (.mdb, .accdb, .xls, .csv and .txt files)
Actual ODBC for OpenBase v 2.2
This driver connects to databases from OpenBase International. It does not connect to MySQL or PostgreSQL. To connect to MySQL or PostgreSQL, please use our Actual ODBC Driver for Open Source Databases, included in our Actual ODBC Pack (above).
NOTE: to use any of these drivers with Microsoft Excel X, you must also download Microsoft Query, a free download from Microsoft. It is available here or by visiting www.microsoft.com and searching for "Query X". Microsoft Office 2004 and 2008 include Query - it does not need to be downloaded separately.
